First we understand what do we mean by ergonomics ?

It is nothing but use of psychology or a person's efficiency in engineering and design of products.

I feel in the next 10 years. Many of the patents for biologics will come to public domain.

IN PHARMACEUTICAL WORLD 

Many of the pharmaceutical (any kind of drug used for medicinal purposes) for any industries have started and most will start manufacturing biosimilars in the coming years.

 Now Indian pharmaceutical industry is 3rd largest by volume and 14th largest by value. The difference in volume and value is because India’s major exports are generic drugs which are high volume and low value.

:--Biologics are high value and low volume products, hence these 10 years will be crucial in securing India’s position as a top player in pharmaceutical industry and establish India as a biopharmaceutical major .

GOVERNMENT INITIATIVE 

Indian government has already started taking initiatives and has started specialized biotech parks in almost 10 states.

Biotechnologists will be required at every stage of preparation of biosimilars. This will create jobs at all the levels from production to research. But government has to take initiatives to develop curriculum which focuses on employable skills of students. In research lots of money will be spent on research in biologics.

Since production of biosimilars involve almost all the departments like molecular biology, mammalian cell culture , bioprocess , upstream and downstream processing , analysis and many more , It will require human resource from almost all of life sciences.
